Way to escape horrible dubs is watch them the way I watch them: just clips of the fight scenes set to music. Downside is you have no idea what’s going on
Goku is the only character name I know from Dragonball. I have a nerdy co-worker who watches it and says the strongest villain in Dragonball is an all-powerful baby who has baby temper tantrums and one time turned everyone to chocolate and ate them. I still think he’s fucking with me…
