We got plenty of unwanted kids as is. As this point, population control is going to be a necessary thing as natural resources become increasingly scarce.
Now, I'm not saying terminations at 6, 7, 8 months is OK...but if its early on and the mother / family is incapable (mentally, financially, whatever)...why burden the system even further?
Its just repubs catering to the devout religious idiots, I know...but one would think at this point there could be more votes gained than lost by softening the stance on abortion these days. There are a lot more moderate women than hardcore Christians.
