If we are coming from the assumption that all these teachers are normal, professional, and teaching appropriate materials, then you should also come from the assumption that parents are normal professional (different field), and ok with teachers teaching appropriate materials. You don’t get to claim a giant portion of the population is normal and another is batshit crazy because it suits your argument
Edit: does a teacher who is a parent kind of scramble the argument? On one hand they are normal and wise because they are a teacher, on the other hand they are controlling and crazy because they are a parent?

Why would they want to see if they dont want to change something? Every week, if they cared, im sure they could go up to the school or get a progress report. Hell, they could even ask their kids "what did you learn in school today" and be like 12 hours late on their out rage. Like there are so many reasons they dont need to see every last thing the teacher is going to be teaching. If its history, history. Math, math. Science, science.
I just dont understand why all the sudden? They want to know every last thing being taught in schools when it didnt matter a year ago. Now, since fox news told them to be upset about the liberals indoctrinating their kids, here we are.
I seriously doubt its because parents want the school to dive deeper into subjects.
