The problem with homeschooling is that many of the same people who can't afford a private school of their choice, whose cirricula they approve of, also can't afford to stay home and school their children while also working two jobs, if they're even capable of educating a child.
So there really is no good argument against full transparency for public schools. Of course you can't accommodate every parental concern, but they have a responsibility to try, and this notion that they should have some kind of sacred teacher\student confidentiality agreement with children is insane.

Yep
Counseling and medical has a much higher confidentiality than any other service, maybe even with lawyer attorney client privilege
Gravy might be steaming pissed about this, but even the confidential counselor + kid professional relationship can be legally violated by a parent whenever they want. They are legally allowed to not only know what the counselor is talking to their kid about, but also to sit in on the counseling session
Same I’m assuming goes for medical appointments
So to act like there is some important and sacred teacher + child confidentiality to protect the kids is ridiculous, because a parent can literally sit in on their kid’s counseling session to prevent a child from gathering the courage to tell their counselor that the parent physically abuses them. Pretty fucked up but that’s how it goes
BUT FUCKING WOW, luckily 99% of parents are pretty normal and don’t do that (sit in on their counseling sessions). Golly gee
