My only advise to anyone is stop complaining and get a job, people who do this tend to end up doing well for themselves.

I disagree with this.

The important thing is to get a job and put as close to 30% of your income into savings and investments and hope that the economy does not crash and all of that goes up in smoke like 90% of the world is about to experience.
