Two recent developments.
One is that Russia is moving a ton of troops, aircraft and missile systems to Belarus, so they can take part in "exercises".

Read that White House statement carefully. If you are Russia that sounds like you're being given permission. Jimmy could get the ice cream. Mikey could stay up late. Putin could invade the Ukraine.
Britain just sent a bunch of anti-tank missiles there along with advisors and trainers, which means actual combat operators because you can't train a gopnik how to operate a complicated weapon system in a week. So if Russians invade, look for the Tommys to score the first couple of tank hits.
