This just reeks of alt right downplaying talking points (no offense). The fact of the matter is you have a serious issue in this country where suddenly one guy can just make things up and convince people without evidence to try to stop the certification of an election. This is a serious issue that does not bode well for the future.
Give me a break with the mismanagement/lack of police presence. There wasn’t a lack of police presence in context, because no one thought Trump would actually instigate people to go try and overturn the election as a mob lol. That’s like blaming a guy who got robbed for not carrying a weapon to defend himself with “well if you’d had a weapon you wouldn’t have been robbed so we really should t blame the robber that much” smh

*temporarily stopped the certification of an election. If you think this wouldn’t be temporary, then enlighten me as to how it permanently (or until next election) could change the next president?
There absolutely was mismanagement, and people were fired for it. The police presence has to be enough to control a rowdy crowd, it’s no different than a rock concert
Here’s the article discussing the mistakes made, nm he resigned before he was fired

Edit: and btw it was Democrat Congress including Nancy Pelosi blaming the police event planning. So keep that in mind when you call my viewpoint alt-right
