Class is basically fine once it gets its defence skill bump late Velious.
My only spell change would be to add Cure Disease. I wonder if the omission of this spell was an oversight or design decision? Is it in reference to Aragorn being unable to heal the affliction put on Frodo by the Nazghul's Mordor blade?
Itemisation I'd want to add ranger to Chestplate of Vindication (but I see why they are omitted - they aren't really a class associated with giants nor plate... Shaman just get in by the skin of their teeth).
I just watched LOTR FOTR again, so I will also say add double attack to archery, but I don't think it is needed. Some kind of pet would be nice to have (maybe befriend animal). Thinking about it, maybe this is what the double damage vs stationary bonus represents?

It's comical that rangers can't cure disease.
The dev's were/are obviously pro-evil so they made the Ranger and paladin a laughing stock. There are people who want humans and human things to fail.
They gave their super evil race OP innate regen.
How canl evil even med? heal? How can a cleric and monk be evil?
