Please read some history, namely American history. You may understand why the Founding Fathers put the Second Amendment into the Constitution.
The Founding Fathers rightfully assumed any country could eventually slide into tyranny. That is a very common pattern throughout human history. It is why they built protections into the Constitution against tyranny.
Of course the Founding Fathers are for overthrowing bad governments. How do you think America was created?
