I've got an AMD Radeon 5700xt, and I've tried -everything-. Then suddenly I turned off compatibility mode for eqgame.exe and everything is smooth at 60fps again.

Not really playing p1999 much these days, but once in a while I login just to see if there's any change in this issue. Upgraded from a 5700XT to a 6900XT a while back and I'm now around 40FPS (instead of 30)

I checked for compatibility mode, but sadly it wasn't even enabled to begin with.
