There's one. Literally the first result. It essentially says it may be effective, but may require modification to treat covid specifically. But because no real research has been done, since we're only about a year into even looking into it, you can't conclusively say that it does or doesn't work.

Even if it's not effective though, it's also an extremely safe drug in humans, so why not investigate it if it saves lives? The few people actually taking horse paste are taking a dose about 100x that of a human dose, because as it turns out horses weigh a lot more than human beings.

TLDR: The hysterical resistance to ivermectin is driven purely by jerry springer-level tabloid understanding of the science.
