Many of them are being forced to be vaccinated if they want to keep their jobs, if you haven't heard.
My one and only point ultimately is that our societal, collective response to covid is in no way proportional to the actual risk it poses to most people. We will seemingly suffer any amount of economic collapse, the closure of small businesses, the general mental health of the populace, to avoid getting a disease that barely kills anybody it infects. There are vulnerable demographics, yes, and they should be vaccinated. It makes sense for them. Forcing five year olds to get vaccinated to go to school, when you *can still get and spread covid* if you're vaccinated, is insane hypochondria. It's not science. The people who keep saying "follow the science" are being precisely anti-scientific.
