He’s confused because his use of the NOUN of Republican makes it sound like an adjective when it’s not, it’s a noun
I’m using a NOUN when I say Democrat media. I could say “Democratic media”, but that is more commonly used to describe the form of government of electing officials, which is why I choose to use the NOUN
