It's reasonable to point out that the same people that say communism doesn't work are extremely hawkish on China.
If your gonna define communism as "they call themselves that and use Marxist language" -- then you have to explain why the country set to pass the United States is communist -- despite extreme global hostility to their style of government.
I don't call it communism. I don't really think whats going on out there has much to do with what Marx wrote about. And its not because "they did it wrong." It was impossible for them to do it right because you need a highly advanced capitalist society before it even is supposed to work.

I think they liberalized their economy a bunch of years ago with "special economic zones". It once was just Hong Kong but now there's like 30 of them and they all get to taste the boot.
