I got this one! Zade, we fucking gave you feedback on a silver platter the first year of red. Staff ignored us. Rogean laughed at us. This isnt CoD. The ruleset distilled the server to its griefest, toxicest. Staff was warned, month after month, that this would happen with nothing done until we hit late night single digit pop. You kept doing shit that crippled the server, with practically no communication on the reasoning behind it (like the kunark xp nerf who basically ended my guild, red dawn). Staff needs to take some responsability here.
Part of the toxicity is just inevitable and would happen anyway. Welcome to MMOs. But the way staff interacts with its playerbase here (or more accurately, the way it doesnt interact) breeds cynicism.
Here you are, bitching at the playerbase, the same week where we are building up a thread, of our own volition, to try to brainstorm a ruleset that would work cuz you guys cant be fucking arsed to do shit like this. We do this knowing that it is very likely that if a new server pops up, none of that feedback will be taken into account. Because we care about EQ pvp emu.
