I also fail to see how if a market economy doesnt control the (what are modes?) then I feel you're asking for communism, because then what the people want will not be what we get, because we'll determine what we need is more important, no?
That's my serious reply my other wasn't, but that's a serious concern I have with any socially driven economy.
