Also completely ignores the reason they're so easily overwhelmed is that our for-profit health care system maintains inadequate reserve capacity in the first place. It gets ignored by both sides because it plays against the nonvaxxers-are-evil propaganda from the left, while the right knows it's basically their policies' fault the U.S. has such a poorly-run healthcare system so they're not interested in recognizing it either.
