No one said the vaccine was 100% effective. It's not an all or nothing proposition.
The vast majority of COVID patients in the hospitals are unvaccinated. If everyone in the country was vaccinated there would still be a few COVID hospitalizations, but the hospitals would not be overwhelmed like they are in some places currently.
And, as your dumb ass has been told many times, that's the entire point. To keep the healthcare system working.
