Update: I posted a pic in this thread of a text from my cousin regarding her husband after he was diagnosed with Delta strain covid. It was his first time getting covid and he, his wife, and their young daughter were not vaccinated. Yes they are conservative
My cousin’s husband was very fit, competes in BJJ wrestling, is ex-military. He had some bad symptoms of body aches/pains but his lungs remained clear throughout. Regardless though, the body aches he reported did sound substantial. He described as feeling as if his bones were breaking
Anyway, the update is that he is already over it and better. Neither his wife nor their daughter contracted it from him, I’m assuming because they were able to successfully isolate him in the home
I will now save Ceily and others from having to type out fake-pity and righteous indignation, I will do it for them:
CorrectThink: I’m glad to hear your cousin’s husband was ok, but that doesn’t change the fact the he was stupid to not get the vaccine and put his wife and daughter at risk. It also doesn’t mean that YOU will be ok if you get Delta, or that the next new strain of covid won’t kill him
Ok now me again: Just felt like with all these morbid stories of former marathon runners who probably aren’t very active now that they’re raiding on P99 being put on ventilators, this board could use a little good news for a change. My cousin’s husband also didn’t put the public at risk as liberals love to claim, because he got tested immediately upon developing symptoms and quarantined, including from his own family
