They demand more accountability (I have no problem with this), reviews of particular restraints like choke holds (this is a shitty idea, when less lethal ways to subdue isn’t an option that bumps it up to lethal only), police to be from their own community only (I have no problem with this, but they would, once they realize they’d have huge shortages of cops without being able to commute from other cities, and huge response times)
Those are the demands I’ve heard. The problem is that this isn’t a compromise, and a compromise is the best way to resolve an issue. Had it been a compromise, I think it would be fair for police to say “ok we’ll do all that. We want you to resist arrest less”

Police are fine, when they screw up they generally do get prosecuted. The problem is criminals committing violent crime. Don't do that, and you'll have all the shit you claim to want.
It's always so funny to me that people bitch about rich people having too much money, but like, you're saying poor people should have more money. So at what point exactly does a poor person become an oppressor if they start to do well? Are there any good rich people? And if so, why are they good? Nobody touches those questions.
