600k people over the course of like twenty months, not twelve. Also many of them simply died while having covid, and would have died anyway from what actually killed them. They make no attempt to separate the two statistics, a more helpful number would be how many people died *because* of covid specifically, and would have been fine otherwise. That is almost certainly much lower than 600k. Plus the fact remains that for children, covid is actually safer than the flu. If you're a healthy ten year old and you could choose between getting the flu or getting covid, you'd pick covid. And yet, no masking no compelled vaccination no lockdowns, no measures of any kind for a bad flu season. It's a totally internally inconsistent policy.
