Have you not read that we're struggling to keep healthcare workers on the job in some places? Do you think that helps or hurts your chances for a positive outcome on any procedure if you go into the hospital?
Everything we do on communicable disease control is a numbers game with the primary goal of keeping the system running. I'd be fine if all of you conspiracy theorists would stay at home and get better (or die) if you get sick. But the minute you start wheezing you come to the hospital and shit it up for everyone.
