RoA is my greatest treasure and accomplishment. It took me three weeks of actually offering the most on the forums to finally get one! That takes A LOT out of a person. I bought it for most of the resources I'd acquired in 8 months on P99. It's rarer than a 40-year old virgin (present company excluded).
I don't see how the quoted statement is a departure from my current stance: it is the inarguably #1 most effective tool in the game for INT casters in many regards, the only possible contender being a Fungus Staff in some secondary areas. And that quote was from weeks ago, meaning there aren't as many floating around that are not locked up on people who will now NEVER sell. Are there even any left on people who don't understand its true value? That is something you will have to find out for yourself over the next few weeks and maybe months. I wish you great hardship and then luck at the end of your search: you will then appreciate it all the more!
This nuke-in-your-hand may be more than you can handle with your bank account and too powerful an item to wrap your mind around, but if you wish to continue a debate over its relative effectiveness and merit, I am happy to inform you of what it is truly capable of.
