I played from release to Cataclysm on a PVP server, and at times on a blue server as well. The things that drove me insane about WoW were:
1: The playerbase. It's been discussed to death already.
2: EZ Mode. Nuff said.
3: No ability to kite. This one infuriates me. Why is it that only EQ and Vanguard have had enough balls to allow this interesting and fun mechanic to flourish? Mob chaining was the DUMBEST idea to ever hit MMORPGs. Period. You should be chased to your death by an angry monster unless you run DAMN far away. Period.
