Yup.
Brother in law owns a couple restaurant locations and hes working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week because he can't find enough help.
Sad times in America. Able bodied people sitting at home collecting off the government instead of working.
Imagine if the government gave out that $600 / week to those that were actually out working those low skill / low pay jobs. Unemployment would be less than 2%.
But they don't want that.

lol, looks like your brother in law needs to pay more if he can't find people with his starvation wages. Free market 101. If your business model relies on starvation wages it does not deserve to exist. Costco, Chik-fil-a, In'n'out, Wawa, and other high-paying employers are having zero trouble finding employees while still offering competitive prices.
Seriously, if you can't compete with $600 a week designed to ease pandemic suffering and you're begging for the government to coerce people into adequate desperation to take your job, you're a shit person, a leech, and an affront to the American values that make our form of capitalism work

Nearly all low skill, low paying jobs are having an incredible time filling positions. Restaurants are crippled. My wife works in the business and they can’t staff the front or back of the house properly.
