Awww thanks. I knew you would want to see some data. The best I can find with figures from the justice department is unfortunately from 2019 (https://www.justice.gov/hatecrimes/h...ime-statistics). But let’s take a look at the hate crime category, shall we?

“Of the 6,406 known offenders:

52.5% were White

23.9% were Black or African American“


Now let’s look at representation. While people make up about 76% of the USA based on the 2019 census (https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fa...e/US/PST045219)

Black people make up about 13.4% of the population



GOLLY GEE, what a surprise. White people are under-represented based on their population size in hate crime occurrence and black people are over-represented. I’m sure this comes as no surprise to you and also the reason you asked for this data

As soon as the figures for 2020 are made available by the justice department, I’ll update them
