Bullseye. The current Ford Rangers are as big as 90s/early 2000 F150s. Everything keeps getting wider and fatter with safety. I don't think you can buy single-cab pickups anymore and they don't offer any cheap 'sport trucks' like they once did.
You need high end interiors and a suspension made for comfort. The pickup truck was a utility vehicle, not a soccer mom 'sport utility vehicle'. A work truck. Straight axle. 4X4.
It wasn't a $60,000 King Douche Ranch or something fay like that.
Fatter, wider, heavier, safety, uglier, comfort, safety. Needs to appeal to the Starbucks in you. Sprinkle glitter everywhere!
