So wait, Murray’s book WASN’T satire? It sounds like The Bell Curve actually tried to claim that some races are smarter than others, in a serious way

So lemme get this straight,

A guy writes a book saying white people are smarter than black

And then in the same year, this chick writes an article for a college newspaper claiming something similar but about black people. And one is considered satire, but the other isn’t

How do we know she didn’t mean those statements the same way Murray did again? Because I thought Murray’s book was also satire, but apparently no, he was serious

Then when I asked if it were even possible for a white person to post satirical statements about white superiority and get away with it, you linked the book. But that’s not an example of getting away with satire about white superiority. So I’m still correct, that it is impossible to make statements of white superiority, even when joking, and get away with it. Because The Bell Curve is NOT satire

But it IS possible to make statements of black superiority when joking, and get away with it. If that’s even what she meant. Because it could still very well be a person who thinks whites are superior arguing with a person who thinks blacks are superior, and the one who thinks blacks are superior now wants to do some damage control
