We read certain stories that are interesting, we value investigative journalism yet we don't have a go to news outlet.

Most of the people I know cross examine a story using different outlets but also, a lot of outlets just use AP. The Associated Press is pretty unbias because they merely report facts and that is some useless shitty journalism but you can count on it to be factual.

Politics are different than releasing a game you don’t think is finished. People see politics as a battle of ideologies, some even see it as good vs evil (I personally don’t, but many do). Just like you aren’t purposefully surrounding yourself with mostly conservative friends (and if you are, it’s because you have no choice, they’re all that you know), and going to conservative rallies, you aren’t going to go get a job at Fox News pushing bullshit that you don’t agree with ideologically
