Not gonna read 41 pages of drivel for an article that's been retracted. OP obviously can't differentiate between virus size and droplet size, the virus is preferentially carried in droplets. Redacted NIH article suggests the experiment itself was bad, which happens in science. Individual virus particles are unlikely to be exhaled as they are contained in droplets which are 1-10 microns, which get absorbed by paper or cloth material. Again, selective interpretation/reasoning at work here.
OPs Charles Bronson hero worship makes sense. I'm sure that "good old boy" would have something to say about facemasks too.
