This is the misconception people have with instancing and its not your fault. It sounds stupid for a pvp server at first but pvp servers mainly die because 1 guild cockblocks everything and the opposition slowly dies out not being able to progress. Even people leveling up in the #2 guild see them getting killed and quit leveling half way because they see them just getting shit on and sounding frustrated in discord comms.

With AoC( instance raid content only) on a 3 to 4 week lockout timer or so the #2 or #3 or #4 guild could do naggy at least once a month and still be somewhat competitive/have fun being able to progress and still want to try for the open world content since its spawning every week.

This also helps the server have more than 2 guilds ( like every pvp server ends up having) you are not forced to play with people you don't like because lack of #s or whatever the reason is and those smaller guilds could ally instead of merging for open world content( if a guild is zerging) still and go back to fighting each other after the open world target dies.

sorry for the long rant just trying to explain the reasons behind it.
