You won't make any money on this until Velious when the gem component is removed. Just to give you an idea... A full set of High Elf cultural requires
85 blue diamonds... let that sink in for a little bit. Full dwarven would be
85 Jacinths.
I would do the dyed fine plate route for now, appeal to the fashion questers.
