You think too small.

If you're gonna understand and address these issues you have to stop thinking like yourself - the individual

In order to understand the fundamental and existential requirements for mass human civilization, you must think like exactly that, on terms of all humans, not the few, the tribe, or the town.

Human civilization was born near fresh water. Every city sits on 1+ rivers. Due to this, infrastructure was built near fresh water.

Yes, people can most certainly survive in small groups in hostile climates.

Now pick up new york city, right now, and drop it in the sahara. It'll be mad max tomorrow.

What you suggest is an untenable solution to a very real existential problem. There isn't room for all of us.

And if you really think there is room for infinite humans on earth, when can I move into your house and use your resources?
