Playing a warrior this time around, I've found myself doing a lot of the looting. When I feel like I've been looting more than others, I periodically do a /split 30 or whatever, which sends plat to the others (no, I don't load them with silver or copper). Maybe this practice would help people feel like plat is being distributed more fairly.
I also mouse turn most of the time, which causes accidental looting, so I prefer to either hide corpses or have someone loot them. People who want a slice of the plat, please, start right-clicking corpses and get them off my screen. Just like BlackBellamy said.
I think a better response in this scenario would have been to simply start looting things more often; or to say something like "Mind if I loot some of the corpses?"
The 1-3 plat from trash mob corpses isn't important. If raising plat is the goal, you gotta /random for some items that drop and tunnelquest them. Or farm some guards for swords, etc. I wouldn't flame a player nor guild over exp group looting.
