so ive been trying to play p1999 for a few days now, i can connect and i've gotten to level 4 on my warrior but i keep having strange problems.

The first problem is that randomly while just playing things stop moving and nothing works not chat no skills not anything but i can still walk around.

the second thing I've noticed is that i managed to make my way to the Tunnel place that every one trades in and im there and able to see every one then about a minute or so every single time im there, every one disappears, the tunnel becomes empty except for a single corpse at the entrance called Karloree's Corpse. its always there but its not there when the game is working properly and i can see every one.

I want to play this game, but i am having a lot of issues with the 2 problems mentioned above its taken me a couple days just to get to level 4 ......

thing's I have tried to fix the problems:
run in compatibility mode for windows xp sp 2 and 3
run as administrator
I am using WinEQ2.15 lite
I re installed everything and patched again to a new directory
I have tried playing on green and blue (maybe it was an issue with one of the servers )
I joined the discord of p99 and asked around there for help, some people say its my internet connection but it is not. I have the best available internet in my countery ( Canada ) i did a test just now and its 825 mbps download and 31.7

some people asked if it could be my hardware ? I know its not that either. I use windows 10, im using a 4k monitor, i have 32 gigs of ddr4 ram i have 1070gtx founders i have an msi7 motherboard I have an intel core i7 6700k processor i know its not my hardware ive been using this rig for a few years now. I have no idea how to fix this but every one else seems to be able to play this game just fine so im wondering whats up.
definitely sounds like a network issue. I've heard of people having issues that were alleviated by using a VPN; for testing purposes I would recommend trying that out. Obviously any modern broadband is going to be fast enough, people played this on 56k. But having a fast connection isn't the end all be all of connectivity issues. it sounds like there's some sort of problem between your client and the server. If you don't have a VPN, try using a mobile hotspot or some other means of troubleshooting that will rule out your internets connection to the server as the problem.
