I think that politicians killed maybe 6-24 thousand people and are trying to "cover it up" by making everyone think that Cuomo's crime is sexual harassment, and not sending sick people to old folks homes when we knew full well that the elderly were at the highest risk of death from covid infection.

It's not just old folks homes. It's like all prisons, ALFs, vulnerable people, disabled, hospitals. Holding facilities, including migrant camps.
It's cruel and harsh, but in 1920 wouldn't they have just locked people up in their homes? Black plague? Ur done, period if you go in public.
Castle, church, monestary, food reserves, all closed. Wells closed.
I think you're grossly underestimating the death toll from gross government negligence for the last decade.
