I loved Sirken. He was high all the time which I think helped him maintain his sanity, although even he got chippy with the VZTZ playerbase near the end of its run.
Oh and as cute as the box destroyer comments are, which I play along with for shits and giggles sometimes, here's one of my last posts ripped right from the staff forum

I'm not ready to discontinue the server. Our players are a pain in the ass sometimes and I'm not always around as much as I want to be, but I'm still very much invested in and getting enjoyment out of staffing it.
If there is any problem with the hardware hosting, we can probably figure something out. I don't mind paying for the domain or handling that.
I need to know for sure if we will have continued hosting/domain registration, or not, though. Let's get everyone on the same page.

The box "died" because Gronkus was married and his wife was sick of that shit (somewhat understandably.... would anyone actually want this crap running in their house or having to be on-call 24/7 for restarts?), so the plug got pulled on the hardware. He didn't stick around and didn't send the hardware to anybody either. I raged at the time over that but in retrospect I can't even blame the guy.
