Imagine joining a guild as an LGBT and finding a channel where their idea of fun is disparaging images of transgenders. Imagine being called an asshole by Furoar and Beefbrocceri at raids. Imagine taking that kind of abuse 6 years into Velious for virtual dragon pixels on a private server that could go down any day.
How many times has Furoar had to publicly apologize to the guild for being a psycho? How many people other than Lavittz has Beef driven off from the guild?

Tangentially related, I never liked the amount of swears flying in voice. It is proper cringe. One of the reasons I largely dropped out of raiding tbh. When the family is having screen time together in the evening - watching tv, mobile gaming or chilling with a laptop - some background noise is acceptable but you can't have people screaming abuse and swears in the background. At the same time you can't just whack on some headphones and completely ignore the rest of the family for hours on end.
Would love to find a raid crew where any voice chat is mother kissing mouths only.
