I remember as a kid in elementary school reading that passage of Ender's Game where Valentine and her brother basically conquer the world by posting on internet forums and thinking at the time how preposterous that was. About 20 years later, in came to fruition in the memes and facebook propaganda that put a man in the oval office and fueled an entire movement based on lies and disinformation.
