The Syzygy of faith, a double bifurcation of Ego and Christ-Self:

Fear--------/|\--------Generosity
In ego, we isolate ourselves from God, and we fear the steadfastness of God's providence is not real. As such, we become greedy, because of the fear if we do not Hoard, we are liable to die going without.
On the other side of the cross, that fear is transformed into Trust. We trust that we can be generous toward others, because God is taking of our needs.
That is Faith.
Everything that resides on the ego-side of the bifurcation is illusory, in the process of spiritual alchemy the zeroes are cast into the lake of fire, leaving only the 1s.
