Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I have started up a community fund to help finance prize pools for community-run server events. One of the hallmarks of live EQ were the unique community events, and I think having more of those on P99 Green would better reflect the classic experience.

Unique server events are dear to my heart, and I have tried to organize several on Green so far (as per my limited posting history). However, I hope that this fund will incentivize even more people to step up and host events.

Anyone wishing to donate to the fund can do so, and a record of cash flow will be kept on a public Google Sheet. I have already seeded the fund with a Cobalt bracer and 50K of my own money, and in talks with several guilds for contributions to the fund.

As a start, the fund has already contributed 10K to the Gnome Race scheduled for this Sunday.

Anyone else that is interested in hosting a bone-fide server event and would like help with their prize pools can reach out to me through PM/Discord/in-game.
