Wizards are the chillest class, you just dont like it i think. You can quad all the way to 60, and solo very competently. I mained a wizard on live and quaded most of the way to 65 at the time. Only ever grouping for progression trials in PoP.
Wizards are self suficient to the point you dont really need a group at all. Currently i main a necro here, and it's really solid too.
