All it would do is make shit graphic items like bloodpoint be worth megabucks for that NTOV geared elite look. People would find combinations of dookie armor that make them look scrub style just like the elite raiding maniacs that clock in 150 hours a week and have a custom total gym setup right parallel with the computer chair so they can stay fit while they do it.
Good idea though.
Conversely though, if there was a -20 to all stats item with a unique graphic in or cosmetic enhancement but it was a hyper rare drop from some nearly unkillable mob you bet your ass that thing would be worth huge stacks of plat and the dopest elite guys would use it because their stats are so good they can afford negative 20 to all stats. Ultimate status symbol. Like a vanity cane.
