The average price for electricity in Texas in 2020 is 11.86 cents per kilowatt hour (¢/kWh).

The average cost of electricity in Québec is $0.073 per kWh.

both are kilowatts hour.

Add 6 cents, and it is california prices that everyone is so against so 4 cents cheaper is A LOT cheaper.
