the "almah" means "young woman" not virgin.
The Septuagint (the seventy) is the only "mostly accurate" representation of the Hebrew Text that predated Christ's entry into the Foray. One of the ONLY TWO points at which the Catholic Church states the LXX (Masoretic Text) is accurate over the Septuagint is in Catholicism's perversion of the word "Almah" to mean; "Virgin" instead of its true meaning "Young Woman" source:
