It's got something to do with rarity. Red heads with green eyes afaik is the rarest combo on earth, with an attractive one being even that much more rare. There's something alluring about it, and its puts them above blondes/brunettes who are equally "attractive" for whatever reason. It's not every guy that has that crazy red head fetish but probably more common than one would think.
That's what I fell for too. Over 12 years I dated roughly a dozen girls and the first cute red head I dated I pretty much fell for immediately. Been 3 years and haven't looked back. She's got blue eyes not green but still gd gorgeous af and a fiery personality and super fun
