Not sure if anyone is familiar with the Mayong server on live (survived about a year). Players made a character, but all characters started at Level 51 and had 50 AAs to spend on starting.
If you entered a 51 group (usually Plane of Innovation or something) you'd see all sorts of crazy stuff... SKs who could FD but not work out how to stand up again, hardcore overnuking wizards, shammies that didn't know what their slow spell was.
... and that was just me!

Great server in its time, whispers of it getting shut down effectively dropped the population to such a low point that it actually got shut down. Was a good community at its peak though, if fickle
