It's really sad to see what happens to people when they lack the ability to critically consume any type of media. Americans were cheering to live in a military dictatorship because their lives in Shitsville, Flyoverstate had gotten so bleak, it was their only route to "winning."
Except in this case, "winning" meant making everyone else's lives as shitty as their own. Sad!
