The vanilla class / race combinations are pretty good. The exception might be barbarian rogues just because they are OP vs other rogue races due to throwing boulders, and how do barbarians sneak? Conan always had to hire a rogue. It doesn't seem to fit with the Tribunal lifestyle. I wonder if there is a D&D connection for the barb rogue.

Just picture Frodo in the role of Strider / Aragorn in lord of the rings and you can see why a halfling isn't a ranger.

The race / class restrictions in EQ are a cool aspect.
I think rogues can fit into tribunal. The courts need detectives to gather evidence, maintain underworld contacts, perform assassinations to right/prevent greater injustices, no?

Also, reminds me of the comic where Hulk and Wolverine goes undercover. No one buys it, but they’d rather deal with these two’s under cover identities than get in a scrap with the real deal.

140 Str Barbarian just stole crown jewels? Nope I didn’t see you, just get out before I notice you [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

I do agree the restrictions add more flavour than they remove. The quirky religions combos are enough. I wish halfling wars could bristlebane. Combat unfortunately has gallows / black / physical comedy, right?
