Call to arms? Please, so dramatic. Trump did not issue a call to arms. Just more of the hyperbolic spin that people hate.

The people at the Capital genuinely believe the election was stolen/fraudulent. The means by which it was stolen/fraudulent varies.

Endless media spin is an option there that is ignored.

Hilarious watching you baboons act like a guy calling for the eradication of a religious group is less evil and violent than calling for a protest. The protest got out of hand and that’s a fact. Another fact is it’s not Trumps fault. Just like it wasn’t Bernie Sanders fault when that nut job actually shot up a baseball game after Bernie claimed they were killing grandmas.

See the wildly disparate treatment of those situations? Bernie follows that “call to arms” up with a president candidacy run. Trump gets banned from the public square.
Well, it is Trump's fault (he was gleeful about them storming the Capitol while it was happening), but I think it would be difficult to convict him of an actual crime. While Trump is a really stupid person when it comes to a lot of things, one thing he is not an idiot about is how to manipulate people who he views as less intelligent than himself (i.e. his base). He was already good at that before he ran for President and his time in office has taught him how to do it in a way that potentially allows him to avoid personal liability/culpability. That's why if you look at his speech, it's relatively clear what he is trying to do, but he carefully words it so that he can't actually be liable for it...and it's also right out of Trump's playbook: get other people to do what you want done and have them take the fall for you while you avoid responsibility for it (these guys are going to jail because of him now).

To use a more simplistic analogy, what Trump has done is like getting someone to think about maybe buying the parts to a bomb, then getting them to decide to actually buy the parts to a bomb, then decide to put those parts together into a bomb, then to bring that bomb to a gathering, then (knowing that person has a bomb) to convince that person and the other people at the gathering to go to a specific location. Then the bomb goes off. You know they had the bomb with them, you knew if they got to a specific location that tempers and passions would likely boil over and they would do something violent like set the bomb off, but you don't explicitly tell them to go there and set the bomb off...you just tell them to go there. So he probably can't be criminally liable (although in a civil suit, like wrongful death for example, that's probably enough to find him guilty), meanwhile his supporters who he knew would do something get to go to jail while he later throws them under the bus after encouraging their behavior.

Phrases like:

“We fight like hell, and if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

"You will have an illegitimate president. That is what you will have, and we can’t let that happen."

"You don’t concede when there’s theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore, and that is what this is all about. And to use a favorite term that all of you people really came up with, we will stop the steal."

“When you catch somebody in a fraud, you are allowed to go by very different rules."

"We are going to take back our country."

"You’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.” (Btw, ironic that he talks about strength because when he got scared about what would happen to him after the riot he immediately threw everyone else under the bus and got down on his knees like a pussy)

All of those things are him knowing how his militant base will take those words. He can avoid criminal liability because he didn't tell them to do it, but he is likely civilly liable because it's clear that he was trying to engineer it without explicitly telling them to do it (especially when viewed in the context of all of his comments/actions over the past couple months AND especially his actions during and after the insurrection).
